Its infected... you have to keep moveing it constantly and clean it to avoid this. if its already happened take it out and go see a doctor asap, or say bybye tastebuds. Yellow coloring in the tongue can be an indication that you are overusing mouthwash. Make sure you are using non-alcoholic mouthwash to avoid chemical burning of the tongue, and only rinse after each meal. Yellow DISCHARGE coming from the piercing can be a sign of infection, but not usually a yellow film on the tongue.
If it's new, yes. Otherwise, there isn't a problem unless your piercing starts to get cranky. Just avoid taking it out as much as possible.
I've never heard that this is bad for fresh tongue, and if it is chilled Jell-O, then so much the better I'd say. Popsicles will be your new best friend too.
A Slight sting!
That is a matter of opinion.
Sure you can, after all the tongue is one of the least painful of all the piercings!!! Now I sure you will say, "How can you say that, mr. know-it-all TatuBaron, I know what it feels like when I just bite my tongue!!" But!!!! Where do you bite your tongue??? It is almost always on the side or tip of your tongue where you have lotsa pain nerve endings...And it's a good thing that you do as you would chew off your tongue during R.E.M. period of your sleep....Where it will be pierced will be in the middle where you have mostly taste bud nerve endings.......This does not, by any means, mean that your piercing there will be painless, but it wont be as bad as you are thinking........Hope this helps...TatuBaron
ummm it kinda depends if he knows what he is doing or not. EX. If your boyfriend isn't a good kisser he might bite your tongue and that will hurt. OR he might be great to you and but he might not really be use to the ball in his mouth. So it kinda depends if its comfortable for you....If your tongue feels good to you then I say go for it.
No, it doesn't. If it were that bad no body would be getting it done.
I think that everyone is different when it comes to pain in piercings. I have 4 in one ear, 3 in another, my nose, my tongue, and my navel all pierced. For me getting the actual piercing done on my navel hurt the most, however my tongue hurt the most AFTER I had it pierced due to swelling. But I hear that the most painful are nipples or any kind of genitalia.
Yes, it's possible to get a keloid on your tongue.
The feeling of the clamp on your tongue during piercing can be uncomfortable and may cause some pressure or pinching sensation. It is done to hold the tongue in place and make the piercing process easier for the piercer. Some people may find it more uncomfortable than others, but the sensation is usually brief.
Well mine is crooked and so far nothing bad has happened. But its like towards the side. My dads friends was from like back to front and when his tongue swelled the bar went inside his tongue.. so it really depends on the angle.
Yes u can but it will hurt alot! i have my tongue twice and the 2nd one is close to the web and kinda touches it and it hurts... but after it heals it wont hurt as bad! go for it
it all depends on what kinds of parent you are and whether or not you would like your child wearing it Don't do it man!
