Although it is not good to put pressure on the console as long as whatever you're putting on top of it is not to heavy you should be fine. Although it would be safer if you put pressure on the box shaped 360, if you have an x shaped 360 i would suggest putting a thin board between the two to better balance were the pressure is put

you would need to take a xbox and a xbox 360 apart so you can put key parts of the xbox 360 into the xbox but i wouldn't recommend doing it tho cos it would mean every time you turn it on you would have to overwrite 100s of codes but if you do, do it the graphics would be very bad :)
