Yes, it is bad to try marijuana. The first time you try marijuana, you will be emotionally connected, like sex, food etc. Also, in the first hour of smoking it, your chances of getting a heart-attack quadruples due to the THC (active ingredient in marijuana) which increases the heart rate and blood pressure. Studies have shown that long-term marijuana abuse can cause a decrease in white matter in the brain, which means that the person will not be able to think properly, lose attention quicker, and the information from each cell will be altered in a negative way. The cells that are affected are in Synapses, that send electronic impulses throughout the body, this process will be slower, and long term abusers will have the thought processing the equivalent as an 85 year old man/woman. The smoke from marijuana can also affect the lungs in a catastrophic way. If you start marijuana and have been using it for a year, you will find it hard to quit. If you become abstinent in the use of marijuana, you will have symptoms of with-drawl, which would be depression, thoughts of suicide, increased anger, and violent drug cravings. As stated before, it is bad to start with marijuana, it is hard to quit, and ruins your life, financially, emotionally, and socially.
