It all depends, because as guys grow older they become more mature and accepting of other things. Namely, girls. So basically, one has to decide for them self who they want to be friends with. I personally go for a little evenness (friends with guys and girls). Now if you want my opinion, being friends with girls have more pros than being friends with guys. But as a person, both are good.

if u like all girls they may think your weird and have no guy friends
i would have like 2 girl friends
it's easier 2 buy gifts since u know what guys like
you laugh at the same things and talk about same things
you usually go to the same places instead of like going to like mens wear house and forever 21.
you could be on the same team if ur school has boys and girls on different teams.
u play the same sports
ur talented in like Guitar Hero and like rock band and other things while girls are talented at singing and dancing. so u would do same things
