That depends on what you want it for. Some DVD players have the ability to play CDs as well, but most, other than portable players, do not have their own sound or video output devices (i.e. a screen and speakers). CD players cannot play DVDs at all, but most come as part of a tape/radio/CD player combo, hence can play CDs independently.
If possible, try to find a portable DVD player. These can play both on their own and can be attached to stereos or other televisions if so desired, and fill the requirements of each well.
yes every DVD player can read CD ... therefore you can watch cd on a DVD player
No! The eye is only formatted to TT2 CD device (CD's) U can play CD's in a DVD device.
Dvd is better than CD because the dvd can store more data than the CD
it depends. are you using a DVD/ CD player? or are you using just a plain CD player? if ur using the CD player, it wont work because it doesn't have a screen. if your using a DVD/ CD player, it will work just fine. A DVD will not play in a CD-only player -- even a CD-ROM drive that does not have DVD hardware built in. The stepper motors and lenses for a DVD-ROM drive are far more precise than a CD drive, and the CD drive cannot physically read the tiny information on the DVD surface.
It doesn't matter. It depends on what you need to burn it for. Cars will not read a music DVD and some older computers only have a CD player.
you can use DVD audio ripper to rip audio from DVD and then play on CD player
One can buy dvd cd drives online through sites such as Amazon and eBay. Stores like Staples and Best Buy also sell dvd cd drives. Target and Sears, some locations, also sell dvd cd drives.
a DVD player that plays CD's also
It's very, very unlikely. If you have a DVD/CD combo player, then perhaps, but you cannot if it's only a standard CD player.
Computers used to have separate drives for putting in a CD and Playing a DVD. Now, especially with Laptops, Most Computers and Laptops have a multifunction unit in which both DVD'S and CD'S can be read, but again, some computers still do have separate drives, purely because the performance is better, e.g. A CD may upload better onto iTunes for example in A CD drive rather than a CD/DVD drive.
No, CD-players do not play DVD's. You have to use a DVD player.
cd's you can get them from most supermarkets blank cd's not dvd
