In some ways yes, but in some others no.
If u grow a plant that needs sunlight inside it wont grow.
But if u grow a plant outside it is a risk of being eaten by bugs or ripped up by armadillos (which have alot of diseases) BUT it will have sunlight and will grow properly and NATURALLY. whatever happens happens.
Well veggies grow better in water. While flowers grow better in soil.
They grow better in dirt.
