Why does it hurt more when you run your cold feet under hot water than cold water?

same reason it hurts. it hurts because reactions are occurring giving a pain stimulus. if your foot is colder at the onset the reactions will stimulate a higher response.

∙ 12y agoWell I do t know about you but I think it's better to put cold feet in Warm water maybe start out with colder water than work your way to warm so your feet don't feel weird or burn
