No. Most pools can survive 8-10hrs/day summer and less as needed in winter. Depends mostly on use, and how chlorine gets to the pool. Inline chlorinators require the pump to run, floaters do not.
As far as I know you run the pool filter daily between 8 - 10 hours depending on the size of your pool. This should be enough time for adequate filtration
Generaly runing the pool filter somewhwere between 6 and 8 hours is enough. this can even be reduced depending on local conditions.
NO, it is not because if there was a short in the filter and you were in the pool u would get eletricuted and get very hert of die, so run it when no one is in it
Yes you should run your pool at least 12 hours a day.
If you have 36 ft. x 16 ft. pool I would run the filter and pump 24 hr a day and backwash when ever you have a 7-10 psi raise on filter pressure gauge. All commercial pools run 24 hr per day. If you want sparkling clear pool I recommend that you do the same. john www.unblockabledraincovers.com
First of all remove all remains of the cat. then super chlorinate it and leave it to filter for a day. check the chlorine levels and every thing should be OK after that. so long as the chlorine levels are correct the water should be properly disinfected.
No absolutely not unless you want to waste a lot of water you backwash a pool when the pressure in front of the filter becomes too high or goes into the red.
No. Leave your filter running at least 8 hours per day, longer if your pool appears cloudy.
Always run the pump in filter, for atleast 4 to 5 hrs a day , never run the pump in anything else but filter , only time you change filter setting is when you back wash you filter, also when you ope your pool and shock it for the 1st time run the filter over night then back wash next day
You should run the filter on your 18 x 4 pool for at least 6 hours per day or for as long as direct sunlight shines on the pool. In very warm climates, you will need to run the pump for at least 8 hours.
SHOCK!! Its a powder you can buy at a pool store or chemical store.. its chlorine in powder form, you just dump it in your pool stir it up a bit, wait a day or two, and the pool should be clean.
You have a broken lateral inside the filter. However, the sand should not be black it should be a light tan color. If it is in fact dirt and the soil in your area is dark . . . well.
You can run the filter anytime of day you wish, however the pool has its biggest demand during the daylight hours so it is preferable to run the pool during the day and turn it off at night when there is less demand. If the water gets hot enough 90 degrees or above you should run it 24 hours a day until it cools down!
To take care of an easy set Intex pool that is 8 feet by 30 inches, you should run the filter each day. Clean the filter periodically. Check chemical levels each day. Add chlorine and adjust the PH as it is needed. Use a net to scoop out dirt, and leaves. Use a pool vacuum to clean the bottom of the pool when it is needed.
Our contractor told us that as soon as the last plaster guy stepped out of the pool, water should start to be filled. We then ran our pump the next day after it was completely full, and our contractor put the chemicals in. There did not seem to be a rush to start the filter; only a rush to get water in it soon after the plaster was installed.
