This can happen. Not very offten but I know of breeders who have had half a litter born one day and 3 days later some more being born.
It can be a range of different reasons for this to happen. Sometimes the mothers can just hold onto the kits for a while longer or maybe something scared her half way through giving birth so she forced the labor to stop... They are pretty clever animals.
It can also be because babies have gotten stuck and she will need medical attention ASAP. One way to tell if there is a medical problem is if she is eating and drinking or not. Rabbits in labor, usually wont eat much from about 12 hours before birth till just after having babies. If she isn't eating and you think the labor has stopped or has gone longer then say 3 hours from the last kit to have been born, get her straight to a vet!
Rabbits are mammals and give live birth.
Breeders call baby rabbits "kits"
