One 10mm bolt holds the crank sensor to the top tranmission bell housing on the left side. From underneath bend the shield back that hides it and take the bolt out .. you can access the plug to disconnect the wiring easier.

The crank sensor is located on the timing chain cover, to the right (passenger side) of the crank pulley behind the A/C compressor. Much easier to jack it up and access from underneath. Safety first! Use a jack-stand and do NOT get under the car with tire-jack supporting it
