You just unbolt it. You first have to disconnect the exhaust pipe from the manifold then remove whatever you have to allow you to access the bolts and remove the manifold. It varies greatly from engine to engine. Some are easy and some are very hard.
Air flow meter goes on these fairly regular. Cheap part and easy to fix. It causes the car to run normally but the turbo won't work hence the loss of power. Check it out.
Not an easy job.You need to remove the intake manifold plenum to do it.
undo the side panels in the boot to gain access to the bulb panel which should just unclip, then just replace the bulb and clip it back in place agan. its the top bulb on the octavia skoda estate. its really easy i did it first time. Make sure you replace your spare bulbs though.
no need to pull manifold. remove battery and plate. remove red wire to starter and remove two bolts. easy
What's under the intake is not a hose, it's a pipe which a hose attaches to behind the intake manifold near the firewall. If the hose is leaking, it's a relatively easy task to replace it. If the pipe is leaking, you will have to remove the intake manifold which is not an easy task (minimum 6 hours to remove and replace the manifold!)
The first step is to remove the manifold. If the bolt is sticking out, remove with a vise grip pliers or stud remover. If broke off flush, drill and extract with an easy out or try to weld a nut to it and turn out that way.
there are 3 in the front which are easy to get at, then there are 3 in the back under the intake manifold. they are a little difficult to change, because of the manifold secure bolts, but you should be able to get to them, once you remove the upper manifold.
The starter is located under the intake manifold. You will have to remove the intake manifold being very careful not to drop any of the bolts into an in port. The starter is fairly easy to access once the manifold is off.
Remove the gas line (depressurize it first), and remove the electrical connector. Then remove the two bolts that fasten the valve to the intake manifold. The valve is below the manifold so it is not very easy to access.. Installation of the new one is reverse of the removal.
It is pretty easy to replace the air filter in a 2005 Suzuki Aerio. Remove and open the air intake manifold, remove the old air filter, put in the new filter and reattach the air intake manifold.
The type of drill bit used to remove a broken manifold stud is an extractor or easy out. A hole is drilled into the stud and then the extractor is used to dig in and unscrew the bolt.
