Deposition.
Deposition occurs when materials drops out of winds or water
An example of erosion is if let's say that there was a river on top of a mountain. As time passes by, the water will rub against the rocks and it will rub against it so much that it will go through the rocks and then it will end up splitting through the mountain. An example of deposition is if let's say there is a river. As rocks and dirt fall into the water the river will carry the rocks and dirt down into an ocean or sea, and that will drop off the dirt somewhere else and so on.
Solid rocks break into smaller pieces because weathering could take bits and pieces of the rock. Then erosion carries the rock to some were else. Finally deposition will drop the rock in that place were the erosion brought it.
well while it's carring sediments some drop and over time they pile up and up and up eventually making a new landform when eroded materials us dropped in water it cauese the world to change
The water makes the soil wet and that causes it to tear apart and drop off. The water keeps on eating away at the soil.

Erosion is the process of rock or soil being washed away by wind or water. In this process the particles are carried from the parent rock and when the force of wind or water drops , the particles of sand or dust drop to the surface leaving deposition. Wind erosion is called aeolian erosion. As the particles are blown or washed along, they bounce in steady patterns along the ground, so when the wind drops they are deposited in patterns, hence the patterns of ripples on desert sand and at the bottom of the sea, this bouncing is called saltation.
The drop of water goes through the water cycle. Evaporation, Condensation precipitation or sublimation deposition
When a rock is eroded the particles have to go somewhere. After they are moved (by wind, water, etc.) they will eventually be deposited. These deposited particles are then subject to being eroded again.
Weathering Weathering is where rocks and minerals are broken down into smaller and smaller pieces. Extreme heat and cold, water, and ice can all cause weathering. Water wears away rocks, and can dissolve them. When water seeps into cracks on a rock, it freezes, and gets bigger, causing the rock to push out. Erosion Erosion is simply the transportation of weathered, or broken down, materials. Wind and water can erode, and so can movements from the earth. Water can carry the broken down rocks, and so can wind. A landslide is when lots of materials are carried down a steep hill by gravity. A mudslide is when water makes the side of a hill heavy, and carries it downward. Slumps are when a large amount of rock or dirt, or other sediments, fall. All the material in a slump always comes down at once, where a landslide can have many rocks tumbling down at different times. When the earth moves slowly, it's called a creep. Deposition Deposition is when sediment, and broken down substances are deposited, or layed down somewhere. This can happen in a river when the water slows and creates a new bank, or delta. When wind slows down it can also drop sediment
