Getting your splits is a matter of daily practice. They won't happen by themselves, but regular stretching and exercise will get you there. Google "how to do the splits" and see fitforafeast video by Katrina and Sloane on some great stretches for getting the splits. Right splits are splits with your right leg in fron of you.
You might get hurt, it depends if you're like 1 or 2 inches away from the splits, then not so much. If you're like farther from doing the splits, then yes you might get injured because it happened to my friend and she couldn't really walk for about a week. But the good news is, she could do the splits now :) So unless you're desperate enough to get pushed down to do the splits, you have to deal with the pain Lol
It is more brakeable and if u put a screw in it it splits easier too.
star jumps are good exersize to do slips because i did it and it worked but i dont know if it will work on you
