Your recharge your air conditioner with the type of refrigerant which it was designed for.
The differential temp on the thermostat is set too close or your are short of refrigerant. I would have it looked at soon, short cycling is not good for the compressor.
It came from the factory with R12 Freon. Due to the high cost of R12, I suggest you convert it over to R134. Any good A/C shop can do this. Remember, it is illegal to release refrigerant into the atmosphere. It is also illegal to add refrigerant to a system with a leak without first repairing the leak.
Probably not, how long did it run before the mix up was discovered? All of the refrigerant has to come out and be properly disposed of, then a good evacuation and recharge. You did not say which refrigerant was the correct one for the machine, but either way it all has to go.
Conditioner is good or is it bad it is good
There are several things that will cause the coil temperature to drop low enough to freeze the moisture. I always tell my customers to keep the setpoint at 70 or above just to be safe. There is no magic number. keeping the air filter clean and having a good refrigerant charge helps greatly.
Pantene Pro V is a good shampoo and conditioner.
Yes, but you will need to replace the dryer and flush system from old r12 refrigerant. Your local NAPA is a good source for all products needed. Once converted, you can charge system with 134a and enjoy a "COOL" ride.
You can go to your local auto parts store and buy a conversion kit. The directions should be included. Good luck!
Check fuse Perhaps need a refrigerant charge
If it is crappy conditioner then around $ 3.00 if it is really good then $20.00
Charge the a/c with refrigerant. But being a '92, it will need to be converted to R134a, provided your compressor is good (prolly not) it would cost around $300,
You are looking for the "low side" port. It will located on top of the engine along the refrigerant lines somewhere. There will be two of these ports. They should have either a plastic or rubber little cap covering them. Pull of this cap then connect the charge can nozzle to it. There is a low port and also a high side port. The charge can line only fits on the low side port. The high side is a different size and will not fit the charge kit. Fill until it is in the green area or around 35 psi usually. It is simple. Good luck. no it is not its under the truck
