It's not very healthy for them, and it can be dangerous. It can make your rabbit very sick, depending on what the box is made of. Rabbits like to chew while they use the toilet. Put hay in your rabbit's litter box so he has something to nibble on. That way, he'll eat more hay (always a good thing), and he won't chew on the box anymore. What do you mean "live in a box with holes"? NO if you mean as its cage...it will chew out in no time at all. Get it a 20 long aquarium or other non-chewable habitat and give it a box to chew up and sleep in.
