As in "Be good or mommy gets hurt"?No. Using guilt to make children behave is never good.
The children may only see good things coming from you so when you do punish them they won't take you seriously

Definitely not!! As parents, you know that you love discipline, but you shouldn't really punish your children much, sending to their rooms often works and telling them that they cannot watch television or play on the laptop/computer. Do not shout, as you will not gain a good trust with your child.
