Medicines with an enteric coating are safe for sensitive stomachs because the coating prevents heartburn or stomach ache. For a patient with an ulcer, coated aspirin would be the safest kind to take.

i have a stomach ulcer and want to know what i can and cant eat or drink..
Ulcer is wound in stomach. Something that is soft, gentle on stomach and is also nutritious is good for ulcers.
That is not a good thing. Do you have your period? Have you had your appendix taken out? Do you have a stomach ulcer? I would get that checked out.
A stomach ulcer will not affect the chances of a woman giving birth. Chances of giving birth to a healthy baby are very good when proper care has been given throughout the pregnancy.
You're either starving yourself or it is a good possibility that you could have a stomach ulcer in the lining of your stomach. A stomach ulcer is basically a whole or tear in your stomach lining that occurs whenever stomach acid erodes your intestines. If you have been feeling nauseous, vomiting, you haven't been able to eat very big meals, or your stomach is hurting you, I would recommend seeking medical help immediately.
Milk might feel good at the beginning, but it is advisable to avoid all dairy products. Drink lots of water
If it's a bleeding ulcer, put the patient on IV Ringer's and transport ASAP. Patient is NPO for this. In the field far from help, IV RInger's is good if you can. You can also make a decision about administering antacids PO in order to reduce further damage to the ulcer. Additionally, if you expect to not complete a rescue sooner, you can commence a course of acid secretion inhibitors (proton pump inhibitors, etc.) in order to increase pH in the stomach. As the vomiting or diarrhea that accompany peptic ulcers can dehydrate your patient, hydration is always a consideration. This can be offset by the IV Ringer's but may also require IV or SQ of normal saline. Again -- this isn't a good idea if you're going to reach the hospital in minutes. While recent treatment of peptic ulcers has included a cocktail of antibiotics that attack a species of the genus Helicobacter, this treatment is outside the realm of first aid. Note that in the field, primary diagnostic indices for peptic ulcer are history and the patient's experience, vomiting or excreting blood. Blood loss or hypovolemia is the most dangerous of the symptoms.
For -burst- stomach ulcers without medical treatment, yes. When an ulcer bursts, blood may enter the stomach, causing blood loss, or stomach contents may enter the abdominal cavity causing sepsis. The ulcer may also break through to other organs, or be a sign of cancer. If the ulcer bursts, seek immediate medical attention. However, most stomach ulcers are just painful, and don't burst.
You can it canned pumpkin from the can, but it might not taste very good. If you eat to much of it you might feel werid or sick. Eatting it can make your stomach hurt a little.
The pH is good because it is good at eradicating things that enter the stomach (food, ingested pathogens, etc.). It is bad because if the stomach lining degrades, the acid can eat a hole through your stomach lining, creating an ulcer. If the stomach acid goes up into your throat (acid reflux/GERD), it will burn your esophagus. hope it will help you :)
