It is much harder to make a public school team than private school because
the private school has less people to try out so you have a better chance to make private school than public.
There is also the aspect that many "all-star" players think that playing for a big high school will help them get looked at by colleges, so private schools are easier to make.
No, not exactly because in public middle school you can still get a good education if you study hard and all. But in private high school, there will always be those kids who just don't care and their parents send them there to CARE.
Public schools are funded by the government and open to all students in a specific geographic area, while private schools are independently funded and can be selective in the students they admit. Public schools are obligated to follow state education regulations, while private schools have more flexibility in their curriculum and policies.
Private school has uniforms, public does not. I went to private school from kindergarten all the way through 7th grade. I then switched to public school for 8th grade. I am now in 9th grade (public school). The work load in 6th and 7th grade was very hard. I was doing homework daily for at least three hours a day. There were tons of electives that were mandatory such as music, art, spanish, computers... that we had to take them all. I kind of miss having all those extra classes though. Public school is way easier compared to private. Private schools all vary though. Private school though is great to keep you away from sex, drugs, and curse words. I appreciate going to a school where those things are never mentioned, or seen.
no.
No, it is a very high in hard to get into college
It depends on what school you go to. I've been in both, private and public schools in Peru and from my point of view, private schools are better taken care of than public school. Public schools are payed by the government, but since the government won't take good care all of these schools, because of overpopulation that Peru is suffering; it's really hard fot them to take care of all schools in the country. In the other hand, private schools are better, but of you want to go there, you will have to make monthly payments, depending on the school you want to go to. But yeah, those are good schools.

These days, skipping a grade is pretty hard unless you go to a private school. The best you can do, is work hard, and always go the extra mile in your schoolwork to prove that you are above your grade level. But don't expect to skip a grade if you go to a public school. You have a better chance if you go to a private school.
You can get private loans, student loans if your at a college or tech school. There are scholarships out there, but they are hard to come by.
private universities don't show favoritism towards state-resident students but public universities are EXTREMELY biased against out-of-state students. it has to do with the amount of endowment the school gets from the state.
