A car lift is when a person fixes a car and they have to use the hydraulic car lift to raise the car so they can work on it. You may also be referring to car lift kit, which maybe used to raise the height of the vehicle permanently.
Yes all you will need is a lift kit. Varying on how high you will like the car to sit, will determine the inches the lift kit will be.
You have to talk to the dude on the corner of the garage place for the kit.
You need to buy a suspension lift kit or a body lift kit... a suspension kit is better and looks nicer
Technically no they are not illegal but that really depends on the parts put into the car during the build. But most times the answer is no kit cars are not illegal as long as you go through the processes of getting a vin number form the DMV and getting an emissions test from the police department.
Yes, but it would cost more than the car is worth.
Yes, you may or may not need a lift kit. Which means the kit will keep the tires from scrubbing the car.
i have 22's with 265/22/35 tires on my caprice. i have the interceptor package which has the super spring kit. i dont have any extra room for bigger rims without a spring lift kit. so i would have to say no, u would have to go with a spring lift kit. if you want a custom car lift kit, the guys over at www.liftabrand.com might be able to make some custom parts for you.
A lift kit, you can look it up to see if they have it for your car, or you can retro fit a different one.
