Some argue that the money would be better spent saving our own planet and feeding the poor, but it's still only a tiny fraction of what is spent on weaponry. Humans are hard-wired with scientific curiosity that must be satisfied. When you look at those incredible images of Mars, and the closeups of Jupiter and its moons, you can't help but think its worth every dollar.
I am on the neutral side, I think it is worth it for some reasons and is not for some other reasons. It is worth it, because we can see if anything out in space is going to affect earth. Therefore, I think that it is worth nothing, because we could be using the billions of dollars the government burns like fuel for useful reason. For example, we can use it for business trade. I think the other countries are smart, because every country has left the United States to explore space. None of the countries/continents has paid a penny. I actually think they are smart, that's why Japan, London, Russia, ETC, are in the names of the most productive country, while the U.S. is spending billions of dollars sending astronauts to space and the moon. I mean come on, what is the point, its not as if we are going to live in space one day, but even though we were, I wouldn't!
Absolutely! We have learned more in the past 10 years about our solar system than in all the preceding centuries combined. The value of this knowledge is incalculable, and the expense incurred in obtaining it a pittance. NASA, for example, represents less than 1% of our federal budget.
I, personally think that yes, you could spend that amount if you wanted some people to live there and explore more of space, but if you don't, FORGET IT.
because if humans explore other planets than earth they will learn more and become more smarter in science. when ever u have a science test u are all ready for the big test!

Space exploration is worthwhile because Justin Bieber says that he wants to go to outer space one day, and we need to make him happy.
Space exploration isnt a good idea because we are using all the money to send people to space and to build rockets when we could us it to help africa and other countries and pay for supplies.
