Check with your local health inspection branch, they can tell you what the regulations and requirements are for selling and purchasing piercing needles in your area. In most places you must have a valid business license and a health inspection certificate to sell "sterilized big bore needles, like those used in body piercing". Many health inspection branches are enforcing regulations and seizing needles held by unlicensed facilities and individual's.
In Pennsylvania, the legal age for body piercing is 18 years. If a child wishes to get pierced before 18, it is mandatory to take his/her parents along with a written consent for the procedure.
In P.A I don't think it's required to register a stun gun

In the legal field, the abbreviation "PA" stands for "Professional Association."
It's 17 in PA.
This Guy is so uptight, most places will sell to the general public, and every state has its own guidlines. You can get them from www. needle supply . com I don't know if i should link on this site, thatz y i put the spaces. I am an owner of a Body Jewelry Shop in PA, Hanover. I get needles from this company all the time and believe me its perfectly legal and I by no means am "licenced " for any of that crap he's talking about. Im simply a retailer. If you want to be safe, check your local laws but I wouldn't really worry about it. Then again There may be a huge undercover police sting operation for piercing needles LOL LOL. Not as much as the fine you will get for having them without the proper authorization and license. Needles are available to licensed facilities with registered medical waste protocols in place for the disposal of hazardous materials IE Sharps. They are not for sale to the general public.
Yes, a body piercing studio must be licensed and inspected and the operator must show and prove competence, knowledge and training.
