Unfortunately, I do believe that books will become obsolete within the next century or so. Modern technology has made it easier for people to get access to books and other entertainment, and books are already on the decline. Don't feel bad though, I don't see writers stopping their careers anytime soon! Most authors of the future will still have the same creativity as writers of the present, I think, only they'll be using far newer technology to do so!
