For a long term, stable storage this might be useful to prevent oxidation by exclusion of air (oxygen).
I dont think there is a metal stored under water because they react with water and instead are stored in kerosene or oil. Water often corrodes the metal producing rust so i cant think of any metal that would be stored under water.
Why yes, magnesium is a metal. It belongs to the group Alkaline Earth metals, which are all metals hence their names. :)Magnesium is a metal, yes.[any Supervisor please merge with "Is Magnesium a metal?" so the typo will automatically redirect to the correct spelling? :) ]
Something is aluminum when you put it under light it will reflect and it exhorbs heat on zinctoniumis scale
Sodium metal is usually kept under paraffin because of its high reactivity.
Under ordinary conditions magnesium burns in fluorine. To see a very brief video search YouTube.com for fluorine reacts with different elements.
no

It is not necessary; sodium chloride is stable.

bcoz sodium is a alkali metal these metals when xposed to air they tarnish rapidly due to the formation of oxides on surface Save
Sodium is metal. It is poisonous substance and also highly reactive. It catches fire when exposed in air.
When water and kerosene are mixed kerosene will float on top.
Under the stairs in the basement. Click the barrel that says kerosene.
Sodium react vigorously with air, to prevents it's harmfulness it is to be stored under kerosene.
sodium must be kept under kerosene
The alkali metals are usually the most flammable (e.g. Lithium, Sodium), which is why they are stored under oil to prevent them from accidentally catching fire. In theory, the most flammable metal is considered to be Francium.
magnesium sulfate is a compound that contains sulphur and magnesium i think this answer may not be correct
