I had a epididymectomy 3 weeks ago today. The testical is still extremely swollen and is about 3x normal size. My doctor said it is normal and should feel right in about 3 more weeks. Hopefully he is right. The incision does not hurt at all and all major pain lasted about 2 weeks.

First of all, no-one would be able to tell if they were only 3 weeks pregnant (this means a week after ovulation!) if your going off your ovulation, then yes it can feel spongy & swollen - the reason for the swelling is, increased blood flow, therefore your cervix would be blue also, which is very normal.
How can you check somebody's toe to see if it's broken?
it will be black and blue and a little swollen and hurts, there is little you can do except grin and bear it, it takes about three weeks to heal.
