It is normal for 16 year old boys to get boners over anything and everything. They shouldn't, however, have sex with everything that gives them boners.
It is natural for adolescent boy's to be checking out girls and later remembering the images for masturbation fantasies. This is normal behaviour. Try not to fantasise about children so young as that though as it is not healthy.
yep
Yes, it is normal for a 5 year old to get erections during the day. It is even normal for baby boys and toddlers to get erections.
You get a doctor to check that out because 5 year old boys should not be having erections for 3 days
Yes, boys can get erections at any age and have been known to get them while still in the womb. It is completely normal and natural. As far as telling when or if it has happened, you really cant. And, honestly, I can't think of any reason you would need to. But, it is safe to assume an 8 year old has had a few. He probably wouldn't even notice it, and if he does notice he would not understand it. It is not until puberty that erections start to mean something to them when masturbation begins.
Don't worry, it's completely normal. Many guys, teenagers and adults alike, wake up with an erection (sometimes called morning wood). There are many teenage boys who have involuntary erections. It doesn't have anything to do with sexual excitement, these involuntary erections are caused by blood flowing into the penis.
Although they might be annoying, this is totally normal and natural for a 15 year old. It is just your body adjusting to puberty. They will stop being so frequent when you get a bit older.
Once you start Puberty you will begin to have sexual urges and fantasies. This is normal behaviour.
If it's to often( every 10-15 minutes) go to a doctor.
Infertility
It may be possible that he's having them without your noticing. Five year olds are aware of their body parts and if they change, they may become embarassed and try to hide it. At his young age, I wouldn't worry about it. It shouldn't be an issue until he becomes a teenager. Then, if he can't get erections, I would worry.

The number of erections that a 12 year old boy should get varies. Each boy is different and experiences puberty differently.
