After high school its completely fine to wear whatever you want (I personally say screw what others say and wear what you want even if its uncool). I find briefs much more comfortable than boxers so I wear them and im 17 also im in high school. So to answer the question I personally say yes.

i had same problem. freaked out. heres what to do. get boxer briefs. they fit like briefs but look like boxers. totally acceptable. i just finished my first year of college and about half of the guys wear boxer briefs. just dont get white ones :)
