A belly button piercing,or naval piercing,is basically a piercing on the belly button. It can take about 4 to 6 months to heal after getting pierced. The legal age to get one depends on what state you live in. Most naval piercings are done in tattoo parlors or places that specialize in body piercings.
If you could swim before you got your naval pierced then you will still be able to swim afterwards, unless it is so huge that its weight drags your to the bottom. If you have just had your naval pierced it is probably a good idea to avoid swimming until the piercing has completely healed, to avoid any risk of infection. Once it has healed swimming shouldn't be a problem.
yes this is normal...as the piercing has really not got bigger but the swelling has gone down from the piercing!
yes, i have had mine pierced 3 times. no matter who you are or how well u clean it, it will always some what get infected tho.
I got mine done at Hotwire in Wilmington. It was only 40 dollars. That included the piercing, the ring, and the aftercare stuff.
You can get naval piercing done at American Mission Hospital in Bahrain.
You aren't supposed to tan indoors after getting a navel piercing because of the UV rays can dry out your piercing and make it uncomfortable, and if the lotion gets into your piercing it can get infected. Your piercing may take 6-12 months to heal so until then you should take good care of it and avoid tanning and swimming. You should wait until the weather cools down to get your piercing so then you have all winter for it to heal.
Some bleeding is normal. However, if it is excessive or you are unable to get it to stop by applying pressure, you should see your physician for evaluation.
she has her ears double pierced and cartledge and also a naval piercing. along with 3 tattoos (a lower back IE tramp stamp, olmipic rings on her left hip, and a quote on her right rib cage
Yes you can get it repierced however I would suggest a bent barbell or a navel gem this will avoid external irritation and allow the piercing to be done a bit deeper than the first time around.
