Yes, it is perfectly normal behaviour. Ten year old girls are really ladies, just in miniature form! Their personalities are developing into that of young women and thus they portray themselves completely different to how they did when they were a year or two younger. She will pay much more attention to what she says, how she dresses and how she comes across to others.
