Yeah it is. I also got mine pierced recently. It may look like that because the skin is trying to heal on the inside, where the bar is. It'll look dry and red for a few weeks

What is a hood piercing?

A hood piercing is where you pierce the skin which is above (& slightly covering) the clitoris. There are vertical as well as horizontal options. It's a female genital piercing through the clitoral hood surrounding the clitoris. There are two main types of hood piercing, the vertical clitoral hood piercing and the horizontal clitoral hood piercing. As the name indicates, the difference is in the direction the piercing is oriented in the skin above the clitoris. Neither of these piercings penetrates the clitoris itself.

What are the signs of a tragus piercing migrating?

You will notice that the location of the piercing has shifted, as it is trying to push itself out. If this is happening, it is likely that you are allergic to the material in the piercing.

When cleaning a piercing does using uniondized salt hurt?

If you were to clean your piercing with salt by itself, it would certainly hurt! What people actually clean their piercing with is saline solution- a mix of sea salt and water. (A good ratio to use is 1 table spoon of salt per cup of water.) The saline solution itself should not hurt your piercing. However, sometime cleaning a piercing will irritate it. This may hurt, but the salt is not responsible.

Can a kingsnake eat a bigger snake than itself?

No. There is no animal that can eat something bigger than itself. A king snake has a stomach and it has limits.

Will a nose piercing close scar or stay open if you decide you do not want it anymore?

A nose piercing, should you no longer want to have it, will usually heal itself and present a scar afterwards.

If you get your belly pierced then lose weight will it affect how the piercing looks?

It won’t really affect the look of the piercing at all. But depending on how much weight you lose, it may affect the placement of the piercing itself. Losing and gaining a lot of weight may also cause a navel piercing to migrate and possibly reject.

Can ice b put on swollen nose piercing?

Absolutely...ice helps to bring the swelling down, but as long as you don't put it on for too long, and the piercing itself isn't constricted too tightly. I have a nose piercing too, and i do it all the time.

What is a clitorus piercing?

A clitoral piercing is a piercing through the clitorus itself ( flap of skin located in a woman's vagina), not as common as other piercings but definitely an interesting one. Some say it increases sexual pleasure/stimulation but it hasn't been proven.

What should I feed my damselfly?

they both drink dew or water droplets, the damselfly eats any insect that is smaller than itself. The dragonfly is the same, although sometimes it will eat an insect slightly bigger than itself

Can i dye my hair after having your cartilage pierced?

Well, you CAN, theoretically, but you'd have to be insanely careful. Getting bleach or chemical dye in the open, unhealed piercing would be horrible for it. I'm assuming this is a new piercing? I have purple hair and I have to re-dye it every few weeks or so, and so far I haven't had a problem. One time I was careless and although I did not get dye on the piercing itself, I got it on the surrounding skin, which irritated my piercing like a mother! Point is, let a professional do it if you must, just be incredibly careful. Or even better, wait a few weeks until the piercing has had more time to heal. The last thing you'd want is to irritate the already tender new piercing further. If it's an old piercing then I guess never mind!

How painful is a tongue piercing?

The initial piercing is not painful. The only thing felt is the pressure of needle. The clamp on the tongue hurts more than the actual piercing. The healing after is the painful part. The tongue will swell, and the muscle will be sore. As the tongue adjust to the metal and heals itself from the initial tear and swelling, the pain will subside, generally over a few days following the piercing. By experience, a piercing in the upper cartilage hurts more than a piercing in the tongue.
