It is only safe if at least one of the prescribing doctors knows what the other has prescribed also. Some antibiotics must never be taken together, and others can be taken together safely.
To be safe, ask at least one of the doctors about it. If that is not possible, at least discuss it with the pharmacist who fills the prescriptions.
yes and no. Antibiotics are like tools, they are used to fight a specific type of organism. IE: certain antibiotics are given for an upper respiratory infection and a totally different one given for skin infection. You should ALWAYS ask your doctor why he/she is prescribing a medication, what it is intended to do, and how to take the medication. Lastly, after all that, you should take the antibiotic EXACTLY as prescribed and DO NOT stop taking them once you feel better, take ALL of the antibiotics or you risk the infection returning with a greater vengence and thus harder to treat. As a general rule with ANY medication, ask your doctor what the drug is prescribed for, what side effects you may experience and what symptoms to call him/her back for at what time interval. Always finish all antibiotics given, and ask if how you are to take the medication (ie: with or without food, avoiding grapefruit/juice, with full glass of water, etc).
It can be done without antibiotics before (had all four of mine pulled without them, and two were infected) but they should give you something to take afterwards to treat the infection. If not, go talk to a doctor or another dentist.
Synergism
The patient will continue to be given antibiotics, corticosteroids, and miotics for one to two weeks after surgery.
It is difficult to eradicate from the stomach because it is capable of developing resistance to commonly used antibiotics. Two or more antibiotics usually are given together with amoxicillin or clarithromycin and/or bismuth containing compounds.
Polymixin B and Bacitracin are the two antibiotics that are derived from the bacteria.
On the first two episodes Richard was a dentist
The most common antibiotics given are rifampin (Rifadin) or ciprofloxacin (Cipro). These medicines are usually taken by mouth twice a day for two days.
I would think that the two best places where you can find a dentist are:The yellow pages of your city. The internet, where you can type on a search engine: "dentist + name of your city".
Antibiotics can be given in several different ways - infusion either thru an IV or orally, rectally, vaginally or nasally. Injections of antibiotics are common. Feeding antibiotics is the most common way, either by mixing with food or dosing with a syringe into the back part of the horse's mouth. Creams, ointments, sprays are all ways to topically apply an antibiotic.
Yes, but if it doesn't get better in another two or three days, call your doctor and let them know.
