I actually disagree with that. I am a teenager myself and I don't think there is a way to be a "normal teenager" because EVERY teen is different.
To be a teenager you should to 13-19, but do not grow up to fast.
that would be like saying, " Is puberty normal?" Emo is just like any other stereotype. A teenager goes through it and at some point in heir life, they grow out of it. So. yes. emo is very normal.

Yes, a parent should be concerned if a teenager insists on pooping in his pants. The parent should first take their son to the family doctor to be sure there is nothing wrong physically and if all goes well then the teenager should be sent to a child psychologist to get to the root of the problem.
