The spotting is always cause for concern. Get in to see the doctor any time you have spotting while you're pregnant. Pain in the lower abdomen can be serious but it can also be pulling ligaments. Again, see your doctor if you have any questions.

∙ 11y agoIf the spotting does not escalate to bleeding then it should be normal and the lower back ache and lower abdomen are bound to take place due to the strain your uterus is having on expanding to accommodate the baby. If you feel too worried though, check with the doctor.
