We can be forgiven of our sins (the faults in our lives) no matter what we have done because JESUS CHRIST has died and rose again to forgive us of our sins. Through his forgiveness we will be accepted into the Kingdom of Hevean because otherwise we would not be worthy in His eyes. Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord"

Through riding from death He demonstrated the truth of what He taught and also indicated that all who believe in Him will in similar fashion have the victory over death.
It doesn't, baptism would be being completely submerged in water. This represents the cleansing that happens when Jesus Christ comes into our life. When we ask to be forgiven of our sins. He comes in and completely cleans our heart and makes us a new creature. This is what baptism represents.

I think Jesus didn't bring Christianity. Christianity came after Jesus died. Because Christianity is based on the death burial and resurrection of Jesus. Salvation through faith in Jesus Christ wasn't preached until after His death.
