It is intended for older teenagers and adults, but I'd personally be okay with a 14-year-old playing "Grand Theft Auto IV". Parental guidance is key to media suitability, and laying out the general content is important too, so here it is:
There is lots of violence. Lots. Shooting, punching, stabbing, reckless driving, explosives etc. In addition to the violence, swearing is aplenty as well and the mature themes can be disturbing as well as intense.
Make of that what you will. Yes and no are valid answers to this question.

Wait 4 years.

Yes! The game is rated T for Teen. A 14 year old can play it because he is a teen.
It is recommended that a 14 year old only play computer games around 9 hours a week. Playing more than that may result in an addiction to playing games.
World of Warcraft is rated T for Teens, so it should be fine for a 14 year old child to play. Of course, the child should be monitored, and the parental controls feature should be activated if the parents feel play time is getting out of control.
Yea
Not that bad, but I don't play it cause its anti Christian and anti catholic
depends on what the 14 year-old did ;)
