Yes, you can. You can use a human nail clipper or other animal nail clippers, but the best option is a nail clipper designed for rabbits. WARNING: You might be able to see red blood vessels near the end and middle of the nail. DON"T cut this part. Only cut the tip of the nail or where there are no blood vessels or the nail will bleed and your poor bunny will be in much pain. If it's hard to see the blood vessels, shine a torchlight on the nail. But make sure you still do clip enough, or the nail will break and it will still bleed. If this happens, go to the vet immediately.
Yes, you can declaw a rabbit, but be sure to confirm it with a vet, and ask your vet how long to cut it and how old it has to be. For my answer i would say it would have to be atleast about 7 to 9 months old for your rabbit not to feel uncomfiratable.
Yes, you do have to cut rabbit's toe nails. Do you know why? Well, the will rip and your bunny will not feel so good, and it keeps them healthy. And heres another tip, you can put Orange Juice -just a little- in they're water and often feed them with veggies. This will keep they're nutrition. You could also put oatmeal in their rabbit pellets (food).
You can give them a trim but i would recommend you get it done by a vet. But DO NOT get them declawed.
Just don't cut to where they bleed.
NOOO, if your guinea Pigs toenails are bleeding when you cut them DON'T cut it as short as you are at the moment. You should not clip the pinkish part of the nail. OR you can take a nail filer for human nails and just scratch off a bit of nail with it.
no
i use a toenail clipper.....but some people use mini chainsaws and line them up with toenail and go.....but i wouldn't recommend a chainsaw
Rabbits do not bleed naturally. Rabbits do not menstruate like people, so any blood should be a cause for concern. Depending on where your rabbit is bleeding from, this could be a very serious problem. Rabbits can break toenails and bleed from them, and that is not such a worry. However, if your bunny is bleeding from it's mouth, nose, ears or genitals or an open wound, then you should take it to a vet immediatly, as it could be very sick or hurt.
you dont have to get someone else to do it you can do it yourself.
get your parents to cut your toenails for you, if you are bad at cutting them.
they dont
Don't cut them, paint them or peel them
yes they do but they are not like our's they are blue ;)
Once a week is recommended
Hamsters Toenails are not very easy to cut but you may be able to bring them to a pet store and they should be able to help.
I gets uglier and bigger unless you cut them.
get your parents to cut your toenails for you, if you are bad at cutting them.
Your toenails will grow so long. They will curl back and kill you. This happened to a recent freind of mine. Who was 7. This is true
No, nurses are not allowed to cut or clip a patient's toenails. They are however allowed to file them down. Typically a podiatrist will cut them, or a nurse who specializes and is certified in foot care is allowed too.
Cut all the toenails by clicking them. (You have to be fast!).
The record for the longest toenails belonged to Louise Hollis, whose toenails measured a combined length of 6.77 meters (22 feet 2.75 inches) before she eventually cut them in 1990.
