No, it is never wise to feed a wild animal. They are quite capable of finding their own food. To feed them would make them imprinted on humans as a source of food and they might lose their natural hunting ability and they would become pests. In many areas it is illegal to feed wild animals.

If this is a wild gray fox, it should not be fed. They do not need food from humans and feeding them can make them dependent on humans and they will eventually turn into pests. In captivity a high quality dog food should form the basis of their diet with additional fruits added, such as grapes, They also enjoy some raw beef or chicken as well as eggs. If you have access to frozen mice or rats, they really enjoy these as the are more natural for them.
