A lot of people have no desire to see South America. However, if your parents are making you go to South America, it is far better to use the trip as an opportunity and learn everything you can from it than to pout and waste an excellent learning experience.

It's understandable. It's probably the most self-sustaining country in Africa but I, personally, have to desire to visit either. There are many other places that are much more spectacular. I prefer Austria and Switzerland.
