NO!

It is NEVER, EVER okay to have a male in with a birthing female, or in with one that has already birthed! It is HIGHLY likely that he will, or will cause the female to kill and eat the hoglets!

Please, do some research before you breed any animal!

Is our hamster OK she gave birth yesterday we saw her in the morning but have not seen her since We've heard the babies squeak. Is it normal for the mother not to leave the nest?

The mother hamster will eventually leave the nest for water and food, just ensure that it is close at hand for her, also so that she doesn't feel her babies are threatened leave her ina quiet place and don't disturb her too much that way she will feel it safe to leave the nest. In a week or so you are likely to see the babies also running around.

Are baby hamsters allowed to leave at 3 weeks old?

Three weeks may be a little early, but if the babies are eating well and drinking water on their own, it should be ok.
