This question has two answers. Diet Coke has caffeine in it and caffeine works on the brain the same way Adderall works on the brain. Therefore, the initial effect of mixing the two may be to increase the effect of Adderall. However, caffeine is also a diuretic and diuretics have the effect of washing Adderall out of your system. Therefore, drinking any significant amount of diet coke will decrease, if not totally eliminate, the effect of Adderall.

The only downside of these diet sodas are the very high amounts chemicals in it. But if you're on a diet and you had been given the choice between a diet coke or a regular coke then go for the diet coke. Remember; Water > diet > regular

I have been taking it for my allergies, and have not noticed any interaction from it, nor have I found that it would reduce the effectiveness of your adderall from my own research on the web. If anything, it is better to get rid of the allergies because they are a distraction :)

What drugs should you avoid while taking about 80mg of Adderall daily?
Basically avoid any other type of stimulant drug, your body is already flooding the brain with dopamine from the adderall you don't need to add to the mix even more. Muscle relaxers are ok and sometimes even prescribed to relieve muscle tension the adderall creates. Weed is also a good drug you can use on adderall if you need to calm it down a bit. SO basically, NO Molly(ecstacy included) or Coke while on a high dose like 80mgs. Unless you don't mind doubling your chances of heart palpitations and chance of stroke. SO no uppers, only downers.
