never in any car,water evaporates,causes rust and will run hot
yes but i wouldn't if you live in a cold climate your block will freeze and then you lost a great car :)

The water and coolant is put in the coolant reservoir for the location of this refer to the owners manual. It is best to do this when the engine is cold otherwise you run the risk of getting boiling water all over you. the mixture of coolant to water should be about 50/50.

A 2000 Chevrolet Silverado with a 5.3 liter engine takes 13.4 quarts of coolant. It is suggest that the coolant be mixed 50/50 with water.

my 2000 gose in reverse but not drive
if the water pump is noisy or it is leaking coolant out the relief hole on bottom of pump.
Let's drain the coolant, fill it with water, and find out!
