It isn't toxic, but the dog probably doesn't need the extra calories (just like humans). Also, they are just as prone to tooth decay as we are, so if you are brushing his teeth right afeter giving him the Pepsi, he's on the road to cavities (just like humans).

∙ 13y agoThey shouldn't, it can be too acid for their stomachs especially if they drink very much. If it happened by accident once, they will probably be okay, depending on the amount they drank and the size of the dog. Gve them a piece of bread and watch them to be sure they eat properly.

∙ 11y agoNo, the powerade has artifical sweeteners added and other things that are not good for dogs. Why would you want to give your dog powerade? If you feel your dog is dehydrated then use regular Pedialyte for drinking water. Your dog only needs fresh & clean water for drinking.
