Is it okay to be 13 year old girl and 5'9 inches tall?

Im a 6' 1'' 13 year old and im above average for my age compared to other people in my class or other kids on teams I play. I like being my height because i play Basketball, Baseball, and football. In all the sports I play height helps so dont be mad be glad. I love it! My dad is 6' 3'' and my brother is 6'6'' and im estimated to be 6' 8''so i cant complain just like the other answer says chicks dig tall guys.

You bet it is OK! Congratulations! So many young men are plagued with not being tall enough and some are late bloomers and don't start growing until much later. Many girls love tall men too! My own husband was 6 feet tall at an early age and rounded out to 6' 6" tall at the age of 18. That is one of the things that attracts people to him (the gentle giant) and he looks fantastic in his clothes. When he walks into a room all eyes turn on him, but not because he's so tall, because he's proud of it and is confident in himself. When he shakes your hand it's an honest grip (business people especially like this) and when he gives you a big hug you feel like you've just been hugged by a teddy bear! LOL Don't worry, it's not a curse but a blessing. Merry Christmas Marcy Absolutely! Especially if your parents are tall. Think of it as a positive thing. Except yourself, im really short and i have. No, I turned 13 6 months ago, and when I did, I was 5 foot 11. I went to a doctor thinking that there might be a growing thing that made me really tall, but he said that it was just natural for me, because (I am adopted btw) My birth mom, was about 6 foot 4. 5'4 is the regular length for your age! I am now 6'2, and the tallest kid in my school. Don't worry about being too tall, because you are the perfect length!

Yes it's wonderful! All top models are over 6 feet! You can wear most clothes and look great. I was 5'9 at 11 and finished growing at 5'11 at 13 and I love being tall! Just don't slouch to be the same height as most of the boys at your age!!! They will catch up within the next 3 years and they will want a girl who sees eye to eye with them! I even wear heals sometimes which makes me 6'2 or 6'3 and I love the attention I get from men and the envy I see from women! It's wonderful for you to be that tall! I was 5'7'' at 13, and am almost 5'10'' now. I wish that I had been that tall when I was your age! (Most top models are NOT over 6'' though, it's 5'9'' to 5'11'', with some miniscule exceptions in either direction) ^-^ wow haha that is tall but honestly not for me because i am 11 and 5'9' and no i am not lying my father is tall he is 6'4'

it could be for me no but that is because i am 11 and i am 5'9' (no i am not lying and i skipped two gradez so i don't look so tall) but i do think for most people your height is tall =)
