If it is your placebo pill, yes. They are there to keep you in the habit of taking pills. If it's your regular pill, not so much unless you are looking to conceive.

If you have stopped birth control and are bleeding, this is perfectly normal and is happening because your experiencing break through bleeding from the withdrawal of the pill.
