Generally, spices which have gone past their expiration dates won't poison you or upset your stomach or anything like that. They tend to lose flavor over time, though, so they don't do what they're supposed to in terms of the recipe. Some particularly moist ones can go rancid, though, which can interfere with the flavor. If the spice isn't rancid, you could try just adding more than the recipe calls for to get the flavor boost needed.
Also, nutmeg consumed in large quantities (much more than would be used to spice a dish) has hallucinogenic qualities.
Expiration dates on foods generally err on the side of caution. It's not like it becomes Toxic Death in a Bag instantly at midnight on its expiration date. If the expiration date was three years ago, I'd be significantly more skeptical about it, though.
Your body is normally pretty good about identifying foods that have actually spoiled (if it wasn't, humans would have died out a long time ago); if it looks, smells, or tastes bad, don't eat it, but if it tastes okay it's probably not going to hurt you.
Actually, untreated nutmeg can be extreely poisonous
no you can not get sick from eating expired spices
You cannot get sick if you eat expired spices but lose key elements of spices such as taste, aroma and essential oils.
It is not ok just as it is not ok to mix urine with face lotion. A myth is emerging. Myth that semen is good and healthy to eat or apply.
Probably , so long as it doens't have a 'filled' fondant centre, such as caramel or peppermint.
Yes. It's fine. There isn't really any right or wrong. It's your life. If YOUR body tells you that you are hungry then go for it! You don't want to start wasting away. It's just the natural way of your body telling you that it wants more energy. Go for it.
Well, it's dangerous to use anything that expired.
If it smells ok, it should be fine. I had some that was pretty old and made some biscuits. Should have smelled the mix first cause it tasted terrible!
Yes, different brands of dog food are ok to mix
I believe that DOT4 is ok for DOT3 applications, but DOT3 is NOT ok for DOT4 (to remember: "big fish eat the little fish, but little fish can't eat the big fish")
If the bottle says to not mix don't mix it
yes absolutley it is it can spoil ur health but sometimes its ok __ No. You should choose a healthy snack. Remember moderation is the best choice. So don't grab a bag of chips and a 1 liter pop, opt for smaller portions and not too often.
Expired nuts may contain aflatoxins which has linkage to cancer. Aflatoxin has no smell nor particular flavour so you can't taste them even when the food seems to be ok. I'd say throw it away, better safe than sorry.
Is it ok to eat pomegranate
i wouldn't advise it
