Both Prozac and Wellbutrin are treatments for depression. Although there are hardly any clinical trials, if any, evaluating response and side effects of the combination therapy some psychiatrists believe the two medications can better handle different components of depression (such as anxiety). Since this is based on personal experiences, not actual systematic testing there is no reliable data on interactions between the two drugs, efficacy or safety.

∙ 14y agoThis is contraindicated unless under direct doctor supervision. Taking both of these drugs together can increase your risk of seizure tenfold. You will also have more severe side effects from both drugs, since they are so similar. Contact your doctor at once if you become confused, dizzy, or have a seizure.
