Is it okay to wash your navel piercing with soap water and just move it around in the bath?

Rinsing the piercing with running water is the best be so do that before you get out of the bath, but cleaning with soap and water is just fine. Be sure you rinse the piercing with clean running water before you get out.

Well I would suggest taking a bath and soaking the piercing for a while that will loosen the blood build up on the barbell. Then before exiting the tub use the shower to rinse the piercing and your navel out with warm running water. Cleaning is a daily thing that can be forgotten when it comes to navel piercings.

How do you keep a navel piercing clean?
Soak it in a mixture of natural sea salt and warm water. Put a pinch of natural sea salt into a shot glass of warm water. Push the shot glass onto your stomach to create a suction. Do it for about 5 mins no more than twice a day. If the salt is too drying, try using less and if that doesn't help then just use warm water. NEVER USE ALCOHOL ON A PIERCING.
