ALL piercings are painful. You are after all sticking a foreign object through somewhere its not supposed to be. However, on a scale of 1 thru 10 it is about a 5. It only hurts for the two seconds the needle is going in. And it just feels like a stinging, pinching pain. Once its through your skin it will feel a bit uncomfortable while they slide in the jewelry and the rest of the day it will be a little sore. After about 3 days you will forget it is even there. So i'd advise you get it! :D
