Is it pearl harbouror pearl harbor?

Harbor, US spelling. Harbour is British usage. By the way for many years there was a restaurant in Jersey City, on Bergen Avenue, that had the analogous name- Oyster Bay. Pearls are derived from oysters, and Bay and Harbor are analogous- like Natalie Wood being derived from ( what else) Christmas Tree. I always thought she was Italian ( in that case it would have been Natalia Bosco , literally translated. Bosco is the generic term for wood in Italian. so it goes.
