TREAD CAREFULLY! - the courts ZEALOUSLY SAFEGUARD the rights and welfare of minor children!! Even if you are the other parent - YES, you can be. If you are not the other parent, but are related by blood - you'd better have some kind of written and notarized proof that the mother gave you permission to have them in your custody. If you are not related in any way - you are on VERY DANGEROUS ground! If this was meant to be a permanent act on the mother's part you BOTH MUST go to court to have the court's blessing on this arrangement. I would not even THINK of taking the children with me unless you have gone to DSS or the court first!
If she is not the one with custody, yes.
Yes
In order for a mother to be charged with kidnapping, there must be a custody order awarding someone else custody, or her parental rights must be terminated. The police would charge her with kidnapping. The father or any other adult could report the crime to the police.
if the mom is there, no, even if the mom isn't it's still not kidnapping, kidnapping is when somebody takes the child and doesn't give it back, that's just getting a ride
If you kidnap a child you would be charged with child indangermeant and probably a few other things.
If she stole your child and gave it away, she can be charged with kidnapping. If it is proven that the individual she delivered the child to IS a pedophile AND the grandmother did it KNOWINGLY - yes, it is a crime for her to do that also.
Call the Police. It's Kidnapping. Unless your mother has custody of the child, it is kidnapping and should be reported to the police.
It would be illegal. He is committing the crime of kidnapping.
The parent would be charged with kidnapping.
He has to pay regardless of where the nother takes the child as a result of parental kidnapping.
Often they do. A parent can be charged with kidnapping if they take the child without the other parent's knowledge or consent or from a court appointed guardian.
No not with child abuse, but child endangerment. She will be charged with abuse if she abuses her child! (i am a law enforcement officer)
