No it wont unless its God's choice
^ No. It's completely possible. The sun is going to be expanding over the next few billion years, and in that time hope that a rogue star (one floating around space with no planets) doesn't happen to come nearby. There's shitloads of things space can throw at us. There's pulsars, the vacuum metastability event, etc. Some people like our friend above think that Earth is immune, but no, we can all die right now and there won't be anyone left to care.
meteors pass through earth's atmosphere and if they are large enough to not burn up they hit the earth becoming meteorites, that is about as close as is possible
No, it is not possible to burn water. Water is a compound made up of hydrogen and oxygen, and it cannot catch fire or burn.
They may burn up while travelling through the earth's atmosphere.
Most do burn up entirely but the very largest ones do not completely burn up.
Well the core of the Earth is about 2,200 degrees hot so yes, they would burn up but its about 24 miles in order to get to the core of the Earth
Yes it is possible.
Nothing burns up craters before they hit earth.
Most meteors burn up before they hit the earth. Have you ever wondered why? Well, most burn up because they travel so fast. The speed catches anything in its path on fire.
nope :)
No. The atmosphere burns up the meteorite.
Yes.
